Kaysey Manuel, Counsellor

What is counselling?

Photo of a rainbow above a hill on a cloudy day by Grahame Jenkins on UnsplashI like to support all people in living their best lives, free of judgement and in the way they feel comfortable.  I am interested in your stories, whatever they may be. When we walk together to travel the path of your life I uphold a great respect for your journey and a curiosity about uncovering the wisdom you hold: What has fueled your travels? What supports you in taking steps forward? You are the expert in your life, and if talking with me helps you uncover hidden strengths and hope you didn’t realise were hiding, then I am grateful to be able to walk alongside you as you uncover these things.

Our first session together will be a space for us to get to know one another. If it is your first time in counselling, I will go over what you can expect over time and how processing works outside of the session.

I have a particular interest in relationship structures and dynamics, sexual and transitional identity building, seeking hope in hope-less situations.
