I like to support all people in living their best lives, free of judgement and in the way they feel comfortable using a non judgemental, transparent approach.
I uphold a great respect for your journey and a curiosity about uncovering the wisdom you hold: What has fueled your travels? What supports you in taking steps forward?
While I am trained to facilitate conversation and growth with you, YOU are the expert in living your life and this is the underpinning of our work together.
Our first session will be a space for us to get to know one another. If it is your first time in counselling, I will go over what you can expect over time and how processing works outside of the session.
I initially trained through AUT in their Psychodynamic programme and offered my time to Youthline in their phone counselling services. I took some time away from work to raise two special needs children and have since completed Narrative Practice training.
I have a particular interest in alternative relationship structures and dynamics, sexual and transitional identity building and helping people seek hope in hope-less situations. I specialise in supporting people against anxiety and a particular passion for supporting people after a traumatic event. This includes living with C-PTSD or PTSD symptoms.
